Here's My Story
When I was working in one of the biggest government hospitals in Africa…
I worked in one of the most inhumane and miserable work conditions you can think of! I was condemned to work without adequate tools and resources, and my colleagues and I were condemned to being overworked, overburdened, undervalued, underpaid, underappreciated, and under-remunerated.
Most times, I had to work in stark darkness on night shifts, nursing very aggressive, violent, and occasionally destructive patients. And sometimes, in extreme circumstances, I had to work alone to nurse these patients. Guess what? I think mine was a better case. I had pregnant colleagues who worked in similar or even worse conditions than mine!

For 20 years, I labored in an environment that drained my spirits, tested my patience, and almost left me feeling hopeless at some point.
Until I relocated to the United Kingdom, the odds seemed stacked against me, and my passion was slowly fading away. Yes. I’ve been there, just like you. I understand the pain, frustration, and exhaustion that comes with not seeing your big dream materialize.
Meet Your Lead Coach
Hello! My name is Josiah Okesola. (My media name is Josiah Jackson-Okesola). I am a UK-licensed and practicing professional mental health nurse clinician, multi-award-winning nurse innovator, extraordinary global nursing leader and advocate, digital media broadcaster, nurse mentor and coach, and public speaker originally from Nigeria, West Africa.
While in Africa, I got advanced certifications as a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Psychotherapy; with expertise in Result Technologies, Hypnosis, and Neurological Re-patterning for Addictive Habits.
I have been certified as a Peer Health Educator by UNICEF; certified as a Marriage Mentor and Relationship Coach by The Institute of Marriage and Family Affairs (TIMFA, USA); bagged an International Award in Delivering Training from the London Professional Training Center; had certification in Leadership & Management in Healthcare from Washington University; and I am currently pursuing an MBA in the London School of International Business, United Kingdom.
In 2013, I earned my first international award from the highest global nursing body, the International Council of Nurses, Geneva, Switzerland. In 2018, I was appointed to coordinate an international campaign led by the World Health Organization, the International Council of Nurses, and the Burdett Trust for Nursing in the United Kingdom.
In 2019, I was privileged to lead a team of tech and media-savvy nurses to win the most prestigious national award in the field of healthcare – the highly revered Nigeria Healthcare Excellence Awards (NHEA). In 2021, I also won a scholarship to study NursePreneurship and Innovation at Drexel University, U.S.A.
For the first time in 22 years, after successful mentoring of over a thousand healthcare workers, I am launching my first-ever official coaching program for healthcare professionals!
